United in Purpose

We are on day 21 of IMMERSE and I could not be more excited to study this passage with you today!
“I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.”
1 Corinthians 1:10 (p.127 Messiah)
At Real Life Church, our purpose is this…
“Real Life Church exists to introduce Southern Maryland to a relationship with Jesus Christ.”
Let’s work backwards in the verse!
If our purpose as a body of Christ is to introduce people to Jesus…
Then we need to be united in our efforts of serving, giving and worshiping…
Be of one mind when it comes to how we love others…
Not allow division to separate us from each other or our mission!
And live in harmony with those who may not see the world the same way we do.
From the individual to the collective and from the collective to the individual… The responsibility remains to put others first. To operate in love, have respect for others and celebrate what we all bring to the table. That is how we reach Southern Maryland and introduce them to a relationship with Jesus.
