Reaching the Unreachable
By: Pastor Chrissy Cooney

Do you love someone who is so angry, addicted, or self-righteous that they seem unreachable?

I do.

Would you join me today in doing three things on behalf of your person?

1. Believe
2. Pray
3. Be Obedient

Believe that the God of the impossible can reach your loved one. In Luke 18:27 Jesus says, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Have faith in the God of the impossible and believe that the Holy Spirit can touch the coldest and hardest of hearts, He can reach beyond the addiction, and He reveals Himself in supernatural ways.

Pray like a life depends on it, because it does. Pray for your loved one in the morning, at your desk during the day, and before bed. Every time you think of them, whisper a prayer. Allow the Holy Spirit to wake you up at 3 am with your person’s name on your lips, and speak prayers of redemption, deliverance, and awakening over them. Allow God to break your heart for them and bring you to tears. Pray that this person would realize how much they need Jesus and understand how much He loves them. Pray scripture over them (Ephesians 1:17-19 and 3:18-19 are some possibilities).

Be obedient to speak when the Holy Spirit prompts you to speak boldly or pray out loud with your person. Be obedient when He prompts you to hold your tongue. Be obedient to serve them, love them, and walk through life with them while showing them the love of Jesus and telling them how precious they are in His sight. Be obedient to represent Jesus to your person, especially when it’s hard.

Will you allow the God of the impossible to use you to reach the unreachable?
