You Are Seen
By: Kaleigh Hoschar
“Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
John 8:10-11 NIV
This moment between Jesus and this woman…
He has just stopped a stoning and he looks at her with what I can only imagine is love and says “go now and leave your life of sin.”
He doesn’t demean her and he doesn’t dehumanize her. He just simply tells her that she is seen, she can get back up and she is more than her mistakes.
That is the same for you and for me. Isn’t that good news! By the blood of Jesus, we have been redeemed!
We CAN leave our life of sin. We CAN lay it down at the feet of Jesus.
Remember with me today, the beautiful truth of Salvation, freely given to us by Jesus Christ and what this means for us for the rest of our days. That there is hope for our future!
