Called By Name

I wasn’t made to be tending a grave, I was called by name….
Sometimes I sit and marvel at the idea that the God of the universe spoke my name before I existed. That kind of acknowledgement of who I am… it’s overwhelming.
All the way back in Genesis 1:27 it says “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
THREE times it says God CREATED. There is emphasis here… there is significance. You have significance…
It’s so personal. And then Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
So what do we do with being created??
We fulfill the Great Commission. To bring the love of JESUS to all people of all nations.
Why?
Because we are all called.
Because we are all created.
Because He knows our names.
As PT wrapped up this series on Holy Spirit FIRE… let us always acknowledge the power of the living and breathing, personal God who dwells inside us. That God loves us, sees us and will walk WITH us for eternity.
Go out and LIVE in HOLY SPIRIT POWER!
