Reignite

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

I sat on the curb at 4am in Marion Indiana in 1999, totally unable to sleep. I was under deep conviction for ways I had been disobedient to God. No, I hadn’t stolen money, cheated on my wife, or murdered anyone - but my private thought-life was a mess. The Holy Spirit whispered to me, “Todd, you can hide from everyone else, but you are an open book to me. Do you want to be filled and cleansed and used by me for the rest of your life?”
That day I surrendered to him and cried out, “God, please give me a second chance to walk with you in obedience and power.” From that day to this I am a living, breathing testimony of God’s patience and grace. He forgave me for my past, re-lit my fire for him, and has walked with me every day since.
Do you need to join the likes of Moses, Jonah, David and Todd Crofford in asking God for the grace of a second, third or even fourth chance? Today is your day. Just ask.
