I read a headline the other day about children who were cleaning out their grandparents' freezer and found food with expiration dates in the 1970s. I'm not sure if I would be curious enough to thaw it out and taste it or fearful enough to rent a hazmat suit to take it to the dump. I got to wondering how many times did Grandma and Grandpa "intend" to get around to cleaning out that icebox, but they just put it off?
I am so glad to announce that God does not put off doing what He knows is needed in our lives. Our text today reminded us that we don't just hope God will keep up His work in our life- we know He will. Though we may feel like we struggle to grow, and sometimes there are half as many steps back as forward, God intends to be faithful to us to the very end!
Take a moment right now and tell God one area of your life that still needs work. Now declare with confidence God is going to help you be completely victorious! Say it with confidence, and now go live it out!
