Supernatural Wisdom
How many times this year will we think, I really need wisdom and direction? Look at where the people of the church at Antioch got their wisdom.
While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. The two of them, sent on their way by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to Cyprus.
-Acts 13:2-4
Fasting and prayer is a huge conduit to supernatural wisdom. Here is the question for today. If we knew that we could have more wisdom and direction from God by taking time to pray and fast, wouldn’t we do whatever was necessary?
Pray with me. Lord, as I call on you and as I fast, please fill me with your wisdom to know what to do with my most pressing needs and most exciting opportunities.
