Little Is Much

What has God entrusted you with today?

I remember growing up in a home where trust was everything. This may seem silly, but when I FINALLY got a phone… The first two things my parents told me were…

1. I needed to put a case and a screen protector on it.

2. I needed to try my best to not lose it or drop it…

See, my parents were trying to instill a “stewardship” mindset at the ripe age of 14. They knew that if I could be trusted with this little… breakable… expensive thing…. Maybe I could be trusted with more later on down the road.

I totally dropped that phone without a case on it and watched this nice little dent pop up and a crack form across the screen!

But this verse reminds us today that when we do well with the little we will do well with the “much”.

Remember that when we steward little things well, more will come our way… and who gets the glory? God does. He always will.
