Don’t Stop Short

Whew…. Reconciliation is a really hard topic. I think it is difficult because no person’s experience looks the same and there are just layers upon layers of mess to go through before the right answer is found.
Yet God…
Job 6:24 says “Teach me, and I will be silent; make me understand how I have gone astray.”
This act of listening to God “speak on it” and remaining silent while He is guiding us can be the living water that will melt the ice around our hearts. It can bring us to the level of humility it takes to reconcile when we have done wrong or when others have wronged us.
He didn’t come to reconcile the world for us to sit in our mess and not reconcile with each other…. Don’t stop short of the manger on this one, and not experience the gift of making things right again.
